Immunogen
This antibody was raised against a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acid residues 1641-1662 of Drosophila Mi-2.
Buffer
Purified IgG in PBS with 30% glycerol and 0.035% sodium azide. Sodium azide is highly toxic.
Background
Mi-2 (ATP-dependent helicase Mi-2) is a member of the CHD family of ATP-dependent chromatin remodelers characterized by the presence of two tandemly arranged chromodomains. The Chd3/Chd4 subfamily contains a pair of PHD fingers preceding the chromodomains and these proteins exist in multisubunit complexes with nucleosome remodeling and deacetylation (NuRD) activity. Drosophila Mi-2 (dMI-2) is the orthologs of mammalian CHD4.
Storage
Some products may be shipped at room temperature. This will not affect their stability or performance. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles by aliquoting items into single-use fractions for storage at -20°C for up to 2 years. Keep all reagents on ice when not in storage.
