Immunogen

This Prox1 antibody was raised against a recombinant protein corresponding to amino acids 547-737 of human Prox1.

Buffer

Purified IgG in 70 mM Tris (pH 8), 105 mM NaCl, 31 mM glycine, 0.07 mM EDTA, 30% glycerol and 0.035% sodium azide. Sodium azide is highly toxic.

Background

Prox1 (Prospero-like homeobox protein 1) is a sequence-specific DNA binding transcription factor. Prox1 controls lymphatic endothelial and retinal progenitor cell differentiation, as well as development of the liver and lens of the eye. Required for lymphatic endothelial cells specification and the formation of lymphatic vessels.
